First I would like to tell you a
little bit about the title of my blog Pink Muguetts. Pink has always been my
favorite color, it just makes me happy and relaxes me. Although there are many
other colors I do like, if you ask me for my favorite one, the answer will
always be Pink. Muguet is my name and also the name of a flower that has a
sweet scent but is also poisonous. It is a delicate flower shaped in the form
of a bell and it is used in the perfume and in the floral arrangement business.
There are perfumes, lotions and soaps that use the scent of this flower.
Traditionally the flower blooms in spring and women, named Muguet in France,
give the flower to their loved ones on May 1. Muguets is the French name but it
is also known as Lilly of the valley, May Lilly, May bells, Our Lady's Tears or
Mary Tears. I have always known that the
flower was white, but in order to find a name for my blog I just choose pink,
while researching about it I found out that there are pink Muguets and here is
a picture of them.
I have always wanted to be a writer but have never sat down to
write a book, maybe lack of time, family, home responsibilities, work, college,
friends and all those things that make us feel like we have no time left to do
anything else. This blog will be a
window to my world and all the things that go on in my life, what I do, what I
think, things that I consider important, my adventures, my struggles, my goals
reached, my home projects, what recipe turn out great in my kitchen, working on
my favorite hobby scrapbooking and project life, photography, friends and to
sum it up just my life.
